You Think I'm Better

You may think I'm better,
But it's all a lie.
I may look happy,
But I secretly want to cry.
My laughter has lost its soul,
And my smile is fake.
I live till I go to sleep,
But I never want to wake.
Everything seems horrible,
Life has lost its meaning.
I'm nothing but an emotional disaster,
At times, just never ending.
You may think I'm better,
While I laugh and smile.
But really I can't stand my life,
Not even for awhile.
