“Come exist with me soon”

by Beautiful Tragedy   Jun 28, 2026

“Come exist with me soon.” I’d said-
I was with some friends checking out the new casino in town,
And I wanted to be with you instead.
I wasn’t even going to drink-
We had a designated driver but there are parts of me that still sit in places I don’t want to go back to,
And I didn’t want to relive them if alcohol brought them to the center of my chest.
But you told me I deserved to have fun-
That I should relax and enjoy myself,
And conversations of liquid iv, food, and my three beer limit rule for myself pursued.
I sent you every update-
Every beer number, every bathroom trip that I lost count of, every moment of displeasure that I left my new Taylor Swift hair clip in the cupholder of my friends car,
And you woke up to approximately nineteen new messages that you handled with grace.
“Come exist with me soon” I’d said-
And then I let you exist with me virtually because,
everything is better with you in it.
