Spoken Thoughts

Spoken thoughts,
An untapped mind,
Broken truths,
Lies that blind.
Haunted hopes,
Scarring dreams,
Thinking of the could-have-beens.

Frightened will,
Beaten trust,
Hearts that die,
Turn to dust.
Manic loss,
Endless need,
Silent wounds that always bleed.

Hateful words,
A soulless ghost,
Silent screams
That drown the host.
