Ghost

by Jacob   Jul 20, 2004

Four Am
I wake up,
who knows why?

I peer around,
the room is dark.
My eyesight is blinded.

To my horror,
I see a figure
Standing in my room.

Too scared to look away,
I shut my eyes tight.
Hoping it'll leave.

Curiosity strikes.
I lift my eyes open,
and fear stabs my heart.

The being is right by my bed.
It's face level to mine.
I see no eyes,
no nose,
not even a mouth.

Too scared to scream,
I turn around and begin to dream.

This is really did happen, It's an actual memory of mine.
