To My Dearest Friend

by kellie goldman   Jul 22, 2004

To my dearest friend,
I don't want this to be the end.
No more laughter, no more fun,
a new life has already begun.
You'll make new friends, and I'll always miss you,
remembering the help you gave me when I felt blue.

If only you were staying,
we wouldn't have to say goodbye.
As I think of all the memories,
I begin to cry.

No matter what, you can't forget me or our friendship,
as you take this journey on a new trip.

^I wrote this and I dedicate it to my friend Tori, who already moved, to my friend Eddie, who is moving very soon, and to my friend Heather, who might be moving soon.
