Salvation Cry

by Lisa   Jul 25, 2004

I'm standing on the edge of destruction,
Looking down I see my life's end.
My mind is filled with corruption.
Shall I go to the devils den?
Burn in Hell for the rest of my days,
and surrender to his wicked ways?
This is not the way I want things to be,
I cry out to God, Please Help Me!
The thunder rolls across the sky,
Lightening strikes the ground as I silently sigh.
These burdens, I don't want them anymore.
I've given them to God, that's for sure.
Now I look up and see my life's new beginning,
I smile as I start singing.
Praise God, for He is grand.
One day, beside Him, I will stand.
