All my life i never thought about love
It never really crossed my mind
I always thought there was no one who really knew me
And it was just a waste of time
I didn't think i would ever fall in love
I never really tried
I never believed in love at first sight
Until you came into my life
I never thought about kids
Or having a family
I always told myself id live alone
I can make it in life with just me
Then that night you stepped in
Neither of us knew what we were in for
Now all my future plans for one
Consisted of one more
All those years wasted
Just hanging out alone
All those times i thought
I could make it on my own
You led me a different way
Shined a new and bright light
Took my hand softly in yours
And made all the wrong things right
Now everyday that goes by
I just sit there holding you close
And thinking without you
I would never know
I would never know that miracles do happen
That there is someone out there for everyone
That i don't have to be alone
And their is someone that i can love
Now i look back
At all my old times
Where i thought i could live without love
