Broken

Shattered like a piece of glass.
My heart tattered and torn.
I gave you an all day pass.
For my heart to be reborn.

I thought you could be the one.
To be together for life.
Well let me tell you something hun.
Let me show you the knife.

I thought I could trust you.
You acted so free.
You made my thoughts a zoo.
After I saw that you ignored me.

The day that we kissed.
I thought it could be.
Was there something that I missed?
Or was it just me.

You acted like we had something.
But I guess we did not.
For that one thing that you bring.
After I took the shot.

I guess it’s over now.
You will not be bothered any more.
I will not have a cow.
Now that I have shut the door.
