The Rainbows End

by Stephanie Ricks   Jul 30, 2004

Far from the sky above,
I set at the rivers bend.
Another storm passes,
As I gaze upon rainbows end.

I watch in awe,the florid colors,
Shinning like aurora lights.
Embracing as well onlookers afar,
Whom too gaze upon the heavenly sight.

I see it as a painting of still life,
A compliment to this world we live in.
Though,only nature could conquer perfection,
In such a scene as the rainbows end.

And though it will slowly fade,
Until the rain passes yet again.
I shall return to the rivers bend,
To once more witness the \\\"Rainbows End\\\"
