I can't stop loving you

by Timothy   Aug 3, 2004

I have been afraid to feel,
I have been cold and callous by my own will;
If I never open my heart, it won't take another beating,
Into the abyss I felt my soul retreating.

We have known each other for a long time,
I didn't think we had a real chance;
It is strange how fate can twist,
I am now standing in this uncertain mist.

The art of love has been a dangerous game,
It has stripped me to my bare bones;
I thought I had given up, never to pursue,
But with your face in my mind, I can't stop loving you.
