Locked Inside

Locked inside my mind
Are thoughts that no one sees
No one can understand them
Not even me
Locked inside my heart
Are the things no one feels
There's not enough time
There's too many things to heal
Locked away deep inside
Are all my biggest fears
Locked away somewhere deep down
Are cries that no one hears
These things are never found
They lie deep down somewhere
They are screaming, crying, begging
For anyone to care
Each falling tear is like a story
Being retold over in my mind
There is no happy ending
I always have to hide
Each scar upon my arm
Has a story to be told
A story of a failure
I have no hope left to hold
I'm running out of baindaids
They only do so much
But they always come in handy
When I feel the razors touch

Locked inside are so many things
These things are all unknown
Eventually they'll come out
Sooner or later, they'll be shown

My favorite poem by you so far. An excellently written piece. I really enjoyed this poem. "I'm running out of bandaids, they can only do so much. But they always come in handy when I feel the razors touch." I don't know why, but I love that stanza. Again, a great poem. Kudos.
