Hundreds Of Miles

by Lost in Love   Aug 9, 2004

When we first talked
I knew it was true
There wouldn't ever be another
Other than you

You voice was high
Your cheeks were red
We would talk late at night
While laying in our beds

Dreaming of each others arms
Around each other
Knowing we are best friends
As well as lovers

Talking to each other
About our futures to be
I would ask who you wanted to marry
Hoping you would say me

Talking all night
About anything that came to mind
Or just listening to each others breath
Not even worrying about the time

And all the sexy things
Late at night we would do
No one else knew
Just me and you

As the night grew old
And time went by fast
Knowing even if we hung up
The feeling of us together would always last

Softly whispering our i love yous
And exchanging goodbyes
We would give each other kisses
Also saying nighters

As we sat there on the phone for a few more minutes
Neither of us wanted to go
Not one of us wanted to hang up first
We just didn't want to let go

So then we finally hung up
I would just lie in my bed and smile
I could feel you right next to me
Even though you were hundreds of miles
