Along The Longest

I've been looking for something we all search for.
In the oceans of my tears, in the clouds of my love.
On the ground I stand, along the longest shore.

Suddenly my shoes stick on the ground.
Has hope left me behind?
Then she is standing there in front of me.
Bringing hope back into my mind.
After that she walks on,
And I will be alone again for long.

I can't say never for she will come.
Never doesn't feel right and ever takes too long.
Could it last forever?

I've been looking for someone we all search for.
So many times I've found her yet I let her go.
Even though there are times that she makes me feel low,
I keep searching for more.
