Mummy

by Olivier   Apr 16, 2005

Daddy's gone since yesterday,
He took a little note away,
Mother hasn't been the same,
Grabs at whisky like she's lame.

Left with an empty notice board,
To booze is her new aim.
She hurts my chest when she is bored,
Mother just forgot my name.

Panting through the telephone,
There's still a lot to pay.
"Mummy, when will dad come home?"

I am twisted in this fray,
The beating comes but daddy won't,
It's my tears, she starts to flay.
