Childhood dreams

by Olivier   Oct 23, 2005

Crawling in the ceiling.
Running through the wall.
"Wake up, you're dreaming",
Told mother us all.

I broke my leg,
Said my sister.
White light, tiny kiss.
How pain gone is,
Or how I got,
I know not.

Speaking to the air.
Floating on a star.
Crying in dark night.
No light, the harm are,
Come.
Forth.

Let us away.
Balance on the branches,
Fall and stray,
Into new day.

Our clothes flutter.
Ground have toes just touched.
So suddenly utters
Mum, "I've had enough!"

Then comes my brother,
"Wherefore play ye time away?
Go not, explore not artificial worlds."

The worlds of the others,
For they will miss it.
