Why, Dad?

by rachyBBY   Aug 18, 2004

Dad, why do you act
The way you do?
And why don't you ever say
'I love you'?

Why don't you tell your own daughter
That she's the apple of your eye
And why do you think it's funny
When you make Mom cry?

Do you get pleasure
Out of beating your wife?
Sometimes I think you're insane
God, why don't you get a life?

Stop being abusive
And stop acting like you care
Because you don't.
Why aren't you ever there?

I know you cheat on Mom
No matter what you say
What other excuse do you have
For not being there everyday?

Don't say it's work
Because you know it's not true
I wish I could tell you to your face
That I truly hate you.

Stop hitting me
You know it's not right
I hate it when
You come in my room every night.

Do you think it's cool
To beat your kid?
Are you trying to kill me?
Are you happy that you did what you did?

Do you think it's fun
To rape your child?
And then pretend like you're a nice guy
Every once and awhile

You're going to get caught
So why won't you stop?
On of these days
I will call the cops

So leave me alone
And go get hit by a car
Because I never again
Wanna be in the same room you are.
