Sixteen and Gone Already

by Hannah   Aug 23, 2004

She was only sixteen didn't commit A crime
Yet she couldn't stop that car in Time
In a split second she lost her life.

Her father now stands by a small Wooden cross on the side of a Country road
Thinking of how his only daughter Was only sixteen years old
Never will he get to walk her down The aisle
Or yet again
See her award winning smile.

Her mother lost her baby girl, her Only girl, her favorite girl. Never again will she be able to hold her tight she can no longer look at the site where her baby girl lost her life.

Her little brother will never forget What he saw that day as he Watched his big sister slowly fade Away.

Her big brother will always Remember those silly fights and Late nights.

And never will her true friends Forget The way she lit up any Room, the Way her wink made Their day, the Way in which she Would pray.

For now all they have left to hold on to is the day when they will see Her once again.
