I remember a time when the sun use to shine.
I remember a time where I tree climbed.
Or when the birds use to sing to call out to it's mate.
Or when you see a couple out on there first date.
Or a time when everything use to seem fine.
Or when you went dancing with friends way past nine.
Laughing, giggling, crying, flirting these are some of the best times of mine.
But memories are all I got left for me today,
Going back to a scene that was months away.
For at this party I made the biggest mistake,
For I didn't know how much I could handle, I didn't know how much I could take.
But I drank too much and drove away that day.
I was giddy, and dizzy and I didn't hit the breaks.
Crashing into a tree that took away the rest of my days.
For not wearing a seat beat I went through many things,
Glass, to ice, to tree to snow I take.
For no one had saw me and no body knew,
So I sat there in my throbbing pain that day,
Till my friend dashed around the curve and ran towards me my hope was renewed.
She called the hospital and told them to get here soon.
My friend started crying as if she knew,
For I had no chance of surviving these incredible wounds.
For the ice and glass cut me so bad,
But what hurt the most was the tree branch in my side,
For it was ramped into me one side and came out the other,
Causing an uncontrollably gaping and gashing bleeding wound.
Then I knew it was time to say my final goodbye,
As I looked at my friend and was crying so hard,
I manage to say, “I love you and goodbye”,
As the ambulance just arrives,
But it was to late and this I knew for then I closed my eyes and then and there I died.
