Peace For Me

Teary eyes, I'm gonna cry,
For the millionth time I want to die.
And no ones going to change my mind.
So don't even try cause it will just be a waste of time.
So leave me alone just let me be.
I use to be happy, I use to have peace,
I use to have a husband that I still love till this day.
But all happiness and peace left when a car accident took his life away.
Now all thats left is misery and pain.

For I have taken all I could take,
This pain just won't go away.
I did all I could do but I still see his face.
I try to become strong,
But ended up weak.
I tried to smile but I couldn't keep it on my face.
For this pain is too powerful I was too weak to win.
Here I am sitting in a defeat.
This is simply a battle that I couldn't beat.

So I got a glass of water and a bunch of pills for me to take.
For my life ends today,
I was tired of crying and staying in this unbearable pain.
So I swallowed the pills one by one,
By the time I finished the bottle I began to feel numb.
As I sat in stillness for the very first time,
My thoughts became nothing as they drifted away one by one.
My breaths got fewer and farther apart,
I knew I was dead as I floated above.
My soul was lifted my spirit alive,
As I left my pain and misery all behind.

As I looked up I see him with his arms opened wide.
I smiled for the very first time in a long time.
Heaven was a good place to be,
For I have found my happiness,
And I found peace for me.
