My hero(to aunt beth)

by Bia   Aug 27, 2004

Every one has a hero,
who puts your world together.
and even though they may not be with you,
you'll remember them forever.

my hero and my friend,
always knew what was best.
no one could warm up a heart,
better than aunt beth.

whenever i was down,
she always knew what to say,
to make me overlook the bad things,
and brighten up my day.

you couldn't be sad around aunt beth,
god knows she wouldn't let you.
just to see you smile again,
there's nothing she wouldn't do.

her strength and her courage,
was the most I've ever seen,
and for each and every person,
she had a special dream.

she'd always say to me,
never give up, try again.
cause every where I'm going,
aunt beth has already been.

she tried so hard to hold it together,
for everybody's sake.
but i know her cancer hurt so bad,
there was only so much she could take.

she tried and tried again,
but she wasn't getting stronger.
she stayed with us as long as she could,
until she couldn't take it any longer.

it hurts so bad,
knowing I'll never see her face.
but i feel so much better now,
because she's in a happier place.

a place with clear blue skies,
a place where there's no rain,
a place where there's no cancer,
a place where there's no pain.

whenever i feel her with me,
i know she came to say,
keep your head up honey,
there will be a brighter day.

she helped me realise,
where I'm meant to be,
and i know deep in my heart,
aunt beth is always with me.

i just wish i could thank her,
for everything shes done,
and i wish she was here to see,
the woman I've become.

Rest in Peace Aunt Beth....
you are loved and missed...
by all....
