Back In the Dirt

Patience cannot wait
Anxiety has taken over
I've dusted off the dirt
And put on a new cover

Luck turned its back
And shut the door
To good fortune
And all thats in store

Hope has failed me
Left me so lost
And to make matters worse
It locked me in a tiny box

I try so hard
To make everything work
But life is too stubborn
So I'm back in the dirt
