Life’s a cliché

Life’s a cliché

They say the Earth orbits the sun I know it circles my grave

They say you hold your own fate but I know that mine is man made

Sick of seeing pain, pain sick of seeing me
Telling me son just take that gun your death will set you free
I see the barrel of the gun I know its laughing you see

It knows I no long have the courage to take that one to the brain, like my pains a game, but don’t push me too far my minds never been the same

I know u got to play life with what’s in your hand
If it’s a raw deal still got to play the best you can
I know that life’s next card could be the ticket to your dreams
But then again it could be the end of life’s scheme

Look into my eyes you see they glitter like gold, but nobody knows that’s the reflection of my heart and my inner soul

They say that life is what you make it but can you make it on your own
Twenty eight years have passed by still looking for my home

I know seconds turn to minutes and minutes turn to days
And when those days turn to years your life slips away

They say you grow old, get gray hair and then become wise
Then why as I get old all I can think and do is plan my demise.
