Why do you do this to me? I don't understand your game

Trapped inside this house-shaped hell
A quiet secret she can’t tell
A broken heart just feels too bad
Looking back on what she had

Inside’s a girl that dreams of death
Hoping this is her last breath
She makes a slit, but no one hears
As soon her blood becomes her tears

Now her insides feel like flames
Knowing that love is the one to blame
Not enough pills this time, she sighs
The day hasn’t come to say good-bye

Feeling empty - something’s missing
Purely joy as they are kissing
Lust is what they’ve come to feel
Taking way too long to heal

She’s forgotten love, or so it seems
As if all of this is just a dream
Laying together on their sides
It feels as if there’s nothing to hide

A kiss on the neck is how it starts
Ending with a broken heart
He runs his thumb over her lips
Moving his hand on to her hips

Holding her with their eyes closed tight
mid-day now, but it feels like night
She looks up as his brown-eyes blink
Hands together, their fingers link

Time stands still, as they lean in
A first kiss together is what they win
Looking back now on the past
Accepting that this was their last

Weeks go by and they barely speak
Attempts to reach her are very weak
Thinking about him she starts to miss
Longing for just one more kiss
