Goodbye Boy

by Megan Scaggs   Sep 6, 2004

Can you hear my song?
Is it getting through?
Has my melody of love reached you?
Will you still deny,
That my song is true?
What in the world do I have to do?
I can see you now,
Up there in the sky.
As I watch your plane, I start to cry.
I don't understand,
I wish I knew why,
Why you left without saying goodbye.
There are sights to see,
Many things to do,
There is so much wanderlust in you.
So you'll never know,
That my song was true.
Or the child I carry belongs to you.

    Very... emotional. Realistic. Very good
