Hidden

Deep inside you a voice
Screaming scared
Saying you're an afraid
You're afraid of showing me off
The real you
Scared to be in big crowds
Afraid to speak out loud
Worried about what people really think of you
Bad at rejections
Keeper of bottled up emotions
The real you hidden deep inside
Hidden in a black hole
A black hole in your soul
Deep inside you a voice
Screaming scared
Saying your like a tootsie pop
Hard shell on outside
Soft and sweet inside
You cover up with the being hard act
That's just a shield to protect you
The real you
From being seen, judged or hurt
The real you hidden deep inside
Hidden in a black hole
A black hole in your soul
Deep inside you a voice
Screaming Scared
Let me out
Be true to yourself
The real you hidden deep inside
