My teacher gave me a poem about plums
to learn off by heart
Now I am to write one of my own

See, plums arent a very inspiring topic
So what do you expect me to write
Putting together words bout plums, hardly an easy thing to do

Here lies my creation, a mixture of words and rhymes
Plums, plums, purple and round
A Funny Noise They Make When They Fall To The Ground...

It not Elizabeth Barrett Browning, or Emily D i c kens mind you
But hey, is it not a start?
But one things for sure...No More Poems About Plums!

*Just a poem i had to write 4 English. the topic was plums...how strange!! my teacher was brainwashed by William Carlos Williams! my poem was allowed only ONE rhyme!! its one of the worst poems i've ever written*
