When I Lost You

by Kristyn   Sep 13, 2004

When I lost you
My world stopped turning
My heart stopped beating
My lungs stopped breathing
We fought so furiously
And it killed me inside
To know that you were gone
All my friends were by me
They told me it's be okay
And I'll admit I didn't believe them
I felt like I could die
But after the tears were gone
And when the sorrow left my heart
My world came back together
You were no longer a part of it
I was fine with it
And after only one day
I realized what a jerk you were
Because you couldn't let it go
And you blamed me for a crime
Of which I didn't know
But now you're just another face
And I don't cry for you
You lost your chance
To think that all it would have took
Was a simple acceptance of my appology
But since you couldn't let it go
I had to let you go
And now I'm over you
