Never Said "I Love You"

He looked over his shoulder
Saw her dancing in the crowd
She licked her lips
Looking him up and down

She said to come on over
He did as he was told
Not knowing that a relationship
Was about to take mold

He stared into her eyes
And gently kissed her lips
Felt that tingle
On his finger tips

Trying to hold the joy inside
The best that he can
This is how
It all began

He drove her home
Walked her to the door
Looked through the window
Clothes all over the floor

"Sorry it's such a mess
Didn't know I'd have to clean up
Didn't expect company
I've never had this much luck"

She slowly unlocked the door
Asked him to come inside
He followed her
He wanted to, it can't be denied

She lead the way
Through the mess
Not previously knowing
She'd have such a special guest

They went into her room
And laid down on her bed
She knew there were naughty things
Going through his head

But there weren't any thoughts of such
He was staring into her deep blue eyes
Like a magician
She had him hypnotized

He knew that he loved her
Since the moment their eyes met
Someone denied his feelings
He'd say, "How much you wanna bet?"

He loved her, but never told her so
He loved her, his feelings showed

She loved him, at least she thought she did
She loved him, but her feelings she hid

One day he was on his way over
He was going to confess his feelings
Last thing he saw was flashing lights
All he heard were tires squealing

He never got to tell her
Just how much he cared
She got worried when by 7,
He wasn't yet there

They never got to tell one-another
Their feelings towards each other

They took time for granted
Love left them empty-handed
