If only i was dreaming

From the day i look into your eyes,
I knew you would change my life.
You told me you love me,
and was different from the rest.
You gave me your everything,
but soon took it all away.
I realise i got it all wrong.
I shouldn't have trust you with my heart.
You soon walked away, leaving me behind with a broken heart.
It is not that i am dreaming,
but what i made believe in.
