How does one tell if one is real?
If one is not just chemicals
What if life is only a Placebo?
Making us think that we can feel
Can you prescribe a reality?
Where everything is real
Can you make life clear?
Put into focus all that I can see?
If life is a drug, where is the mind?
That which perceives the nothing
If I took the antidote to life
What would I see? What would I find?
How can life be without corrupting the soul?
Poisoning it with raw suggestion
Is the soul apart? Are feelings immune?
Or are they just swallowed up in the whole?
Is there a drug to set me free?
To show me what it's all about
Can you prescribe a reality?
Open up my eyes, it's time I see
