The Story Behind My Tears

Just take a look
Stare at the tears in my eyes
As I’m watching
My future walk out of my life

Each one of these tears
Tells a story of how I feel
Stories of sadness, pain, and misery
None of them fake all real

Tear one represents
The songs on the radio
Making me think of you
Some sad and some mellow

Tear two represents
All the memories we shared
Day in day out the clock ticked
We were together, we didn’t care

Tear three represents
The way I felt
When you touched me, smiled, or softly whispered
You made my heart melt

Tear four represents
Sleeping in my bed putting my arms around your side
As I open my eyes my arms empty
And the tears fall this I cant hide

Tear five represents
Watching you walk out that door
But something is different about this time
It hurts so much more

All the tears that follow
Have stories to explain
Explain how I’m nothing without you
They help me deal with the pain

So when you feel a pain in you
It’s the tears that I cry
As the pain is hitting you hard
It’s the tears trapped in your eyes the feelings you hide
