Change is different

It's funny how I write about you
I write these poems for you all the time
I adore you so much
But you'll probably never hear any of these rhymes

Ever since we became friends
I'm different all around
I'm writing all the time
This [glow] that I've been sporting
Could be spotted on the other side of town

I never thought I'd care for someone so much
One I've been friends with for not long at all
I'm so happy that when you have time
You always think to call

We're so immature
You can tell by how we act
I'm as honest to you, as much as honesty can be
I love it how you've managed
To sweep me off my feet

You won over my family
The approval of my friends
You care about what's going on with me
Could it be me and you till the end?

We joke about getting married
Like a brat I always tell you no
But deep down I love you so much
Sometimes I want to let you know

I never thought I'd love you do much
Especially in this unique way
Sometimes you leave me speechless
I'm at a loss for words to say

It seems like through our stubbornness
We really hate to admit
That we love each other
And that we complete a jigsaw puzzle
In which we perfectly fit.
