Weak...

With you I find
It is hard to speak
With you my voice is shaky
And my knees get weak

With you I find
Everything and so much more
With you I find the reason
And purpose of what I’m living for

With you I find
My heart goes at a rapid pace
My heart skips a beat
Every time I see your face

You make me laugh
When no one else can
You’re the one person
I know no matter what will understand

With you I find
I’m always memorized
With you I find I’m
Always surprised

No on else sees you
The way I always will
The fact I’m not with you makes
Me totally sick and utterly ill

But...
With you
I always seem to be weak
I’m always at a loss for words
And I find it hard to even speak

    Very nice poem, Maybeth...full of love and emotion.

    I'm just curious about Stanza 5:

    With you I find
    I’m always memorized
    With you I find I’m
    Always surprised

    wondering if you really meant memorized...(that would work and is a cool concept) but it almost sounds like you were going for "mesmerized" that would complement "surprised" a little better.

    Anyway, very great poem!

    thanks for commenting onh my poem... i also wanted to say though that i like allot of ur poems.. i have yet to read all of them but so far i like them.. it's funny cuz we have such similar writing styles.. i guess it just makes it easier to relate haha... ne ways great job
