If only....

by Jacklyn   Oct 6, 2004

Learning to deal,
Learning to heal,
Wanting to get rid of this numbness I feel.

I wish she knew how much pain I now hold,
The fact she was my best friend and all the memories we held.
The fact she could’ve told me anything,
Even the dark secrets that have now been revealed.

If only things were different,
If only she told someone,
She wouldn’t have put her life to an end,
She could’ve gotten help to put her sadden misery that filled her lonely mind to an end.

She would have been able to finish the dreams she dreamed.
She dreamed of having,
A husband and of being a mother of three.
To give and receive,
Love, kindness and caring peace.
But now the only ting in her feature,
Is a grave that bears her name in solid gray stone.
A life that ended way to soon.
A hole in my feature she was suppose to fill in.
