Unspoken Love

by Lipton   Oct 10, 2004

I can't seem to find the words to say,
To let you know I love you this way.
We're good friends, you know as well,
But there is more than you can tell.
I open my mouth to say the words,
But then they're lost in infinite swirls.

We've danced beneath the moonlit night,
Your tender touch, dispelled my blight.
And when the song ended, you didn't know,
I never wanted to let you go.
To hold your hands 'til the ends of time,
And to have your lips pressed against mine.

Will my love be forever unspoken?
And will I lay here, sad and broken?
Being unable to tell you so,
I love you more than you can know?
Or will we forever, just be friends,
Because I never made amends?
