Remembering

by Liz Suffecool   Oct 11, 2004

Ive grown so fast
trying to forget my past
living in the future
not wanting the memories to last

remembering you and me
remembering the things you helped me to see
remembering all the times we said no matter what we'd be friends
but we didn't have to worry about that because you promised me to the end

remembering all the silly little fights
and remembering all the tears I cried most nights
remembering every single mistake
living by words and promises of others living by fate

remembering all the things
you wish you could forget
remembering most of the things that
made you wish it was the end

remembering all the dreams you had
remembering and crying tears because your glad
remembering everyone you love
remembering the day god took your grandma to heaven above

remembering stuff that makes you want to die
remembering things that make you wanna cry
remembering the way things use to be
wanting to not remember ME
