Oh how I miss your touch
I didn't think I'd miss you this much.
I guess It's true...
what they say.
First love never really goes away.

I think about you day and night...
I know that without you I'll be alright... but It's still true,
what they say...
First love never really goes away.

I'll never forget you,
and what we had.
I know that It's over...
which still makes me sad.
I'll be okay though, I can
look back and I'm glad, because It's so true... what they say...
First love never really goes away.

I was loved,
I'm happy for that.
I'll always love you...
but I'm letting you go, just because If I need you to lean on I know you'll be there. Because deep down we both still care... because It's true what they say...
that first love never really goes away.
