Battle Field Between Us

Why can't we get along?
Just once in a while.
We argue over every little thing,
I don't understand.
Maybe it's because we are so different,
we can never agree.
We are always against each other,
I'm getting tired of it.
It's always a battle ground with us,
Why does that have to be?
I want to get along with you,
but every time I try,
you just shoot me down again.
