I am the lust in your love
The pain in your heart
The thorn on your rose
There to mend when you're torn apart
I am your backstabber of treason
I am the lie in your alliby
I'm your conscience when you are down
And the darkness in your eyes
I am the myth in your glory
The courage when you are scared
The torch in your darkness
There to always keep you prepared
You are my host in which I shelter
The prey in which I feed
I'm the excitement when you're aroused
I'm everything you need
The light at the end of the tunnel
The dream you never want to end
So sleep this sleep forever
And don't worry I'll always be your friend

    Nicely written :) good choice of words, this poem flows really well, I like it :) as to the response of your post in the forum... if you want to get lots of people to read your poem, you'll need to read lots of other ppl's poems too and leave them comments and votes ;) sometimes ppl will return the favor by reading your poems.... take care :D
