Your pain

by Shona   Oct 17, 2004

I can feel your eyes follow me, watching me, wanting me. that beautiful stare I've come to know so well. Your arm around my waist, my hand securely in your grasp, I'm the safest I've ever been the best I've ever felt. Because there's something about you thats oh so calming, something I can rely on to pick me up when I have fallen. But those same dark eyes linger with a hidden sadness I can't touch a deep sorrow I cant shake. and can't fix no matter how hard I might try. I can't fix you. Those words echo inside my head and each time leave a sharper pain, a more vivid imprint. To think that you who dries my tears can hurt so much, and I can't take away your pain.
