Graveyard

by cuddelyxbutxviciousXxX   Oct 18, 2004

Shake the bony hands of a dead tree
Say hello to the harsh lonely winds
Greet the dog with the ravenous smile
As the grass beneath you twists and bends
Smile at the angel with the broken wings
Grin with the wolf into the night sky
Comfort the mother as tears run down her face
But never ask how did her son die
Be a friend to the sad and lost child
Hug him as he cries against your shoulder
Entertain him with the funny things you say
Warm his soul as the day grows colder
Notice the ghost with the broken face
Take heart to the dark and abandoned moon
Love the days you spend at the graveyard
For your time is coming soon

This one is very good moxie, I like it alot. It shows how you like to write. One thing that makes it better is that you didn't specify too much. There were enough specefics about what was going on, but broad enough to cover anyone who read it. Your audience was everyone, because everyone deals with death.
