Everyone

I look all around me
Everywhere I can see
Everyone is just so phony

Everyone is so fake
I don’t know of what to make
With lies and deceit, society is at stake

They look one way
something they say
Turn another
say something other

Everyone is so twofaced
So many words displaced
so many lies made in haste

Everyone agrees
Just to please

What comes out is just dirt
Even though in the long run it will hurt

Honesty is no longer a policy
Lies are everyone’s guise
