Irony

by Lexi Lou   Oct 19, 2004

Blinded by light
but kept in the dark
truth is painful
and leaves its mark

a sentence misread
but read none the less
don't want to keep it in
but cant find the will to confess

a window shattered
on purpose by hate
since you don't pick the pieces up
you don't have to contemplate

so smile for a moment
light your shine
and pretend for lifetime
that every things fine
