Not completely oblivious

by Lexi Lou   Oct 19, 2004

Each day passes me by
and i know something is missing
over and over i try
to fill the empty space

i see people fighting
i see people kissing
but they look like they
don't get on there own case

they seem happy, and content
with what they are living
each day isn't something they resent
they are full

I'm trying not to ramble and vent
and focus more on giving
but i feel empty and bent
how i wish i was whole

what is it?
whats wrong with this picture?
why do i want to quit
when nothings ever gone wrong

I'm in a bottomless pit
and i cant find a cure
i take hit after hit
and just keep moving along
not knowing whats wrong
but not completely oblivious
