Lacking

I fall to the ground as you plunge the knife into my back
I lay here and wonder whats wrong with me, what is it that i lack

Tears flow down my face
I'm here alone lost, hurt, in this cold dark place

Id do anything just to be with you
but you don't hear my pleas, or see my pain, you don't even see what u put me through

You stare at me through empty eyes, you don't even see me
who i am, who Ive become, who i can be

You go about your day and push me aside
one day your see what you've done, how you've slowly killed me inside

Ill fight until the day i cant anymore, ill be gone with one last sigh
maybe on that day your see and finally understand it was you who could have saved me from that last good-bye
