What is the Deal

by Aymon F   Oct 21, 2004

You deny now that your feelings were ever true,
You label the feeling that you once needed
like model planes need glue
As something morose
As something gross
You tell me now that your feelings were an illusion
Because you said it was a feeling in the moment.
And then you said I’m always in dismay
Because I never live in the now
Madame Contradiction throws another punch, kapow
You tell me that they were fake, sensation she would make
She said that now she can realize
That all our moments were lies
But analyzing past emotions is not living in the moment
Renaming them grim
Is not of present whim
Calling them not real
What is the deal?
All of a sudden the feelings weren’t true
And you don’t want a relationship, no matter who.
I did not oblige you to take the ride
That I know, that you once did like
Even if now you label them in spite.
If you were never going to Loveland
Why did you ever take my hand?
Why with me did you flirt?
Just so you could make me hurt?
By telling me those two months were not real
Feelings I should desert?
Telling me that me and you never did feel?
