Letting Go

Letting Go Hasn't Been Easy
But I Know It's What's Smart
I'll Still Care For You
Even Though We're Apart

Letting Go Isn't What I Want
But What I Have To Do
I Thank God Everyday
For Sending Me, You

I Wish Not To Let Go
I Want To Hold On
I'd Do Anything To Keep You Here
I Don't Want You To Be Gone

You Loved Me And I Loved You
Although It's Something I Never Said
I Remember When You Told Me Those Words
I Sat There and Said Nothing, I Left You Hanging On a Thread

I Cared For You So Much
But I NEVER Let That Show
You Have No Idea How Hard
It Is For Me To Try To Let Go

I Am Letting Go
Or At least I Am Trying To
I Don't Want To Let Go
At least Not To You

    i can relate so much. you have spoken the words hundreds of thousands of girls are secretly screaming to say.
    I am proud of ur work, coz it takes loads of guts to say this, n a heck of alot of talent to be able to rhyme it in a poem!!!!

    Oh Maybeth very cute, an added element of saddness but still very love orientated :o) Beautiful hun i know its hard to let go, but letting go of something means if it comes back to you it was always yours, from the beginning and if it doesn't then you just never know and have to let go
