Sadness

The sadness consumes us all
In our darkest hours
The thing we want the most
Is what it seems to devour

Sadness is like a disease
Once one person has it
Sooner or later we are all sad
It traps us in this very black pit

We cant escape from its grasp
Its human like claws grabbing for a heart
To turn to the eternal shadows
To which our future we have no part

So don’t let the darkness get you
Or you will be lost forever
To the depths of nothing
With an endless endeavor
