Walk away

by Shona   Oct 22, 2004

The weight of you is crashing in on me and i'm beginning to lose all feeling I once had. There's nothing you can do to save us. My mind is made up and the last race is won. Just turn, walk away and never look back. Try not to remind youself of the past for all the hurt in the world would not bring me back to you. The harsh reality is something you can not yet face but I am here waiting to teach you your final lesson on goodbyes. Close this chapter in your life and walk away with the memories cause they are all you have to hold onto when your alone at night. Remember the last words I told you when I left you standing there, the words that stung worse then the acid tears rolling down your cheeks. This is what you have to remember me; the taste of that last poison kiss and the last time you hear yourself whisper my name in the dark.
