Waiting 4 You

I sit and stare in to silent air
My face listless and plain
And lately all I seem to think about is you
And a lone tear slips down my cheek.

I am torn between to worlds
One, a lonely desolate place, banished from thought
And dead and silent and barren
Where feelings do not exist
And a tear can't be shed to let you know how much I miss you.

The other a place of pure bliss
Where I see things the way it should have been
Your face imprinted in my thoughts
Just you and I together, and life is complete

Although time is ongoing
Fate is inevitable
Friendship is forever
Love is eternal
I know destiny will bring us together

And within myself I believe
That our time will come
Our fate will be accepted
Our friendship will never fail
Our love will be reunited, two hearts beating together as one
And we know it was meant to be.
